Overall Appearance: Outside of his gear, Jacob's face has mild gaunt features, a deep shrapnel scar is torn across his left cheek bone to his jaw/chin. It appears to be at least ten years old. If he is incognito or dressed as a civilian then it is assured that he will sport some form of flight coat or leather jacket, always in a dusty brown. In tactical gear he is a ghost, literally. Sporting an aggressive stealth suit designed for the utmost in survivability without the cost of mobility, it comes standard with optical camouflage, temperature control, C3 inlay for electronic deception and ballistics control. When uncloaked the suit itself appears to be a white body suit with a trio of red "eyes" all increasing in size from the forehead to the nose regions of the helmet. It can render itself any texture/terrain/color if given ample time to adapt, but at its base form the suit is intimidating alone. On the left shoulder is an emblem. (See avatar)
Personality: Jacob wasn't always monotonous, cold and dissociated. He had a sense of humor once, coupled with youthful optimism and aspirations beyond the stars... but it was all lost at the end of his teenage years.
History: Born to a struggling home of six, Jacob, the youngest of them all, was quickly removed from his parent's custody for safety and health/sanitary reasons. His parents had never once attempted to repeal his custody, and Jacob was circulated from orphanage to orphanage before he had even turned three. Eventually he was accepted into a prestigous new program designed for orphaned children; Unfortunately it was backed by a now dissolved pharmaceutical corporation in a form of outsourcing for the US Government. The program involved orchestrating an entire "small town" community, complete with simulated school and family dynamic experiences for the orphans as a means for directly affecting their personalities/life-experience/drives and even as a form for testing social microcosmic theories and vaccines. For all intents and purposes it was a positive and productive realm for growth, however some subjects were individualized and thoroughly tested upon.
Jacob was one of the unlucky few.
Designated with the dysfunctional family dynamic as a form to create an outcast archetype in a dominantly functional community was the first of many directives upon Jacob. He was removed of the father figure at eleven, and was forced to undergo many hardships and trials beyond the measures of his peers. Dealing with abuse from his "mother" and the new men in her life, he became a spiteful and bitter teen until his junior year of highschool, where he fell in love with a fellow test subject and peer. Their romance persisted until he was turning nineteen, where (orchestrated of course) she subsequently died in a horrible car accident the night of their anniversary.
Jacob enlisted into the armed forces almost immediately afterwards, and was deployed into the Congo for three tours. There he fought against Chinese backed communist nationals in the most bitter of guerrilla warfare. He was shot three times, once in the kneecap. An improvised explosive hidden in the brush gave him a nasty scar at the end of his tour, or rather, ending his tour, as both eyes were rendered invalid after. It was then he received third and fourth major enhancements, (Bineural processing and ocular implants.)
He was recruited into special forces after graduating from physical therapy and combat rehabilitation with flying colors. He returned to duty a year and a half after advanced training and entered into a squad known as
Advanced Risk & Threat Intelligence Control
It was there he received highly classified and specialized training that allowed him to sub-contract himself to various intelligence agencies throughout not only the US Government, but the rest of the world and even off-world company contracts(Well, more recently)
